In the 5th minute, Angelo Sazon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Gutierrez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Pedro Gutierrez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Sazon in the 8th minute of the match. Santos Txartiko struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Erubiel Millan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tartagal Canalla. Fermin Bastia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Erubiel Millan made a huge save. In the 15th match minute, Tartagal Canalla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Txartiko to maneuver through the defense. Rodolfo Uzuri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Pedro Gutierrez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fausto Romo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Millan having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Tartagal Canalla's zone, Angelo Sazon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Gutierrez came out of the goal and Angelo Sazon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tartagal Canalla's Fausto Romo got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fermin Bastia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Txartiko in the 35th minute of play forced Sporting mandarina's goalkeeper Erubiel Millan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Santos Txartiko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erubiel Millan was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Fermin Bastia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Erubiel Millan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santos Txartiko made a kick off. When Tartagal Canalla's Santos Txartiko in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Erubiel Millan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Txartiko in the 59th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Santos Txartiko put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Erubiel Millan. Tartagal Canalla's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rodolfo Uzuri 75 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. After 80 minutes of play, Tartagal Canalla's Santos Txartiko made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erubiel Millan was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Sporting mandarina's Benicio Jaizki got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 96 minutes into the game, Santos Txartiko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Erubiel Millan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that Tartagal Canalla were the better team. Tartagal Canalla's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
