But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrian Eneto couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Ricart in the 29th minute of play forced Croacia Fc's goalkeeper Hernan Arano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Rene Ricart notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Croacia Fc's Hernan Arano. Hernan Arano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Croacia Fc's Hernan Arano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Ricart in the 34th minute of play. Croacia Fc's Cornelio Eriz got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The Los Pecados Capitales fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Hernan Arano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Ricart, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Tomás Guzman's late challenge caught a Los Pecados Capitales's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomás Guzman helped the player get up and apologised. Hernan Arano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rene Ricart showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 74 minute of play. Hernan Arano had great luck who in the 84thth minute grab hold of the ball when Rene Ricart from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Hernan Arano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Ricart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cornelio Eriz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Urko having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Los Pecados Capitales had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
