Victoria's supporters rose to their feet, but Salvador Justin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erubiel Millan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Angelo Sazon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Gustavo Cordairo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodolfo Uzuri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Sporting mandarina's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Nastasio came free, but Erubiel Millan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Oscar Galoer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Maximino Nastasio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cipriano Gaspard charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cipriano Gaspard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th match minute, Sporting mandarina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Gaspard to maneuver through the defense. Salvador Justin took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erubiel Millan. Erubiel Millan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Gustavo Cordairo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Uzuri in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Justin in the 45th minute of play forced Sporting mandarina's goalkeeper Erubiel Millan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelo Sazon's late challenge caught a Victoria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelo Sazon helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Victoria booed when Sporting mandarina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Sazon didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Sporting mandarina's Rodolfo Uzuri got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Maximino Nastasio notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Sporting mandarina's Erubiel Millan. Erubiel Millan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Angelo Sazon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Angelo Sazon came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Sporting mandarina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Sazon couldn't finish the play. In the 91st match minute, Victoria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmiro Gilesindo to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Victoria's goalkeeper Gustavo Cordairo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Sporting mandarina supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Victoria's performance. The match ended with a win for Victoria.
