In the 5th minute, Fulgencio Gustau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Juventud Antoniana's goalkeeper Esteve Baumer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emiliano Osoitz. Emiliano Osoitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esteve Baumer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. If Gabriel Acevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gogo Amaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Beltza in the 23rd minute of play. Juventud Antoniana's Domingo Beltza got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 26 played minutes Trilí got a freekick which was hit by Eulalio Cruz. Gabriel Acevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Acevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Amaya having to interfere. Juventud Antoniana's Esteve Baumer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Juventud Antoniana from getting a goal against them. Domingo Beltza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gogo Amaya having to make a save. In the 42nd minute of the match Florentino Mirande sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gogo Amaya skillfully saved the ball. Trilí's Gogo Amaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Acevedo in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Eulalio Cruz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trilí's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juventud Antoniana the free kick. The supporters of Juventud Antoniana booed when Trilí was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eulalio Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Gabriel Acevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juventud Antoniana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Acevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Domingo Beltza to make the kick off. Anier Dolfo thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Gogo Amaya, a very annoying self made goal in the 51st minute which led to 0-1. If Emiliano Osoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Acevedo got free with Gogo Amaya in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Tavio in the 67th minute of play forced Juventud Antoniana's goalkeeper Esteve Baumer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Trilí's goalkeeper Gogo Amaya had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Acevedo. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonides Maura during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Juventud Antoniana booed when Trilí was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonides Maura didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gogo Amaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Beltza in the 80th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Trilí's Eulalio Cruz got a free kick in the 81st minute. Emiliano Osoitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Fermin Tavio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Florentino Mirande kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. If Gabriel Acevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Juventud Antoniana walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
