Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 4) Augusto Mino started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 9 minutes into the game, Palacios's Lino Guzman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filomeno Vimaro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Sebastian Emenon's late challenge caught a Mixto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Emenon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th minute, Sebastian Emenon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filomeno Vimaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lino Guzman went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 23 minutes into the match, Santiago Gerazan notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Palacios's Gerardo Firmo. Gerardo Firmo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Lino Guzman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palacios's supporters rose to their feet, but Lino Guzman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filomeno Vimaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filomeno Vimaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Mino in the 28th minute of the match. Lino Guzman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Vimaro having to interfere. In the 44th minute of the match Elpidio Eliazar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filomeno Vimaro skillfully saved the ball. If Benjamin Osoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
Santiago Gerazan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gerardo Firmo came out and tried to block the shot, but Santiago Gerazan slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 52nd minute. Lino Guzman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Filomeno Vimaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filomeno Vimaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Guzman in the 70th minute of the match. After 74 played minutes Palacios got a freekick which was hit by Marco Chayo. The supporters of Palacios booed when Mixto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Mantzio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mixto's Filomeno Vimaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Guzman in the 77th minute of play. Alejo Cesario's late challenge caught a Palacios's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alejo Cesario helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st minute there was a penalty for Palacios. Marco Chayo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Filomeno Vimaro. 3-2. Filomeno Vimaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augusto Mino's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute, Honorio Montrel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Augusto Mino struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Filomeno Vimaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palacios. When Santiago Gerazan came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Mixto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santiago Gerazan couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Palacios had won after a very even match.
