The tension between the Gowlan FC and the Atlético Talar Sur players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Gowlan FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Adrian Santo hit a great ball. The supporters of Atlético Talar Sur booed when Gowlan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Nesto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Lizardi in the 59th minute of the match. If Maximo Lizardi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilio Rito struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Eriberto Nesto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gowlan FC. Rigoberto Ritchie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Iago, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Gowlan FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Atlético Talar Sur had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
