Lino Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mercedes AFC's zone, Godofredo Lesardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Iratze came out of the goal and Godofredo Lesardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 19 minutes of play, C.A. Paraliticos's Godofredo Lesardo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Iratze was left in no man's land by his defense there! Francisco Iratze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedicto Argenis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the game, Godofredo Lesardo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Francisco Iratze was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of C.A. Paraliticos booed when Mercedes AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Dantae didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute of the match Reynaldo Dolfo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Francisco Iratze skillfully saved the ball. Emilio Abascal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Ederono in the 34th minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Lino Abreu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 42nd minute Fabio Ederono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Abascal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaudencio Loren kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Godofredo Lesardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabio Ederono stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. C.A. Paraliticos's Emilio Abascal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anastasio Gregory in the 53rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Benedicto Argenis managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. Paraliticos's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedicto Argenis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Iratze breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benedicto Argenis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francisco Iratze having to make a save. Godofredo Lesardo in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Francisco Iratze, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Hector Amor charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hector Amor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Mercedes AFC's Isidro Kimetz got a free kick in the 93rd minute. C.A. Paraliticos's Reynaldo Dolfo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 94th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mercedes AFC. Mercedes AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 97th minute, when Godofredo Lesardo scored to the left of an out of position Francisco Iratze, making the score, 0-4.
