In the 4th minute, Benito Jerrold got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Abel Urtsin came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Guaraní AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel Urtsin couldn't finish the play. Mateo Uhin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benito Jerrold's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Unión's Emanuel Loi got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 12th match minute, Guaraní AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafino Argenis to maneuver through the defense. Mateo Uhin came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Guaraní AFC's Benito Jerrold. But to his dismay, Benito Jerrold quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Benito Jerrold recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Santos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute Mateo Inguma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Uhin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mateo Uhin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abel Urtsin in the 60th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benito Jerrold in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateo Uhin saved Unión from getting behind. Emanuel Loi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Romulo Goren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Emanuel Loi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. In the 88th minute, Raimundo Henrico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Mateo Inguma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guaraní AFC played a much better game than Unión and deserved their victory. The Unión players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
