With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geronimo Goiz in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horacio Bonadona saved Chucuma FC from getting behind. In the 20th match minute, River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Buinton to maneuver through the defense. Horacio Bonadona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geronimo Goiz in the 26th minute of the match. Prudencio Venceslao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Horacio Bonadona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chucuma FC's Horacio Bonadona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prudencio Venceslao in the 30th minute of play. Rigoberto Rafel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eulalio Paublo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Godfredo Raymond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Guido Brais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Geronimo Goiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Bonadona having to interfere. Geronimo Goiz struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Horacio Bonadona didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for River Plate. In the 74th match minute, Chucuma FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomiro Caradaro to maneuver through the defense. Guido Brais was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 79th minute. River Plate's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Godfredo Raymond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Paublo in the 83rd minute of play. When Lorenzo Buinton fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored River Plate's protests and gave Lorenzo Buinton a yellow card for diving instead. Lorenzo Buinton kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by River Plate's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Virgilio Quico was slow to take the kick. During this time Chucuma FC's players had a chance to rest. Godfredo Raymond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Rafel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute Eulalio Paublo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godfredo Raymond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rigoberto Rafel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Raymond having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Chucuma FC were victorious despite being under pressure from River Plate for much of the match.
