Rigoberto Rafel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonzo Esiquio having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Rigoberto Rafel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alonzo Esiquio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Paublo in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34th minute of the match Chucuma FC got a corner. Ibicuy AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Virgilio Quico ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Gavino Maurin heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baldomiro Caradaro during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th minute, Baldomiro Caradaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chucuma FC's Horacio Bonadona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernabe Selmo in the 39th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Ibicuy AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eulalio Paublo came free, but Alonzo Esiquio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodolfo Etxekopar's late challenge caught a Ibicuy AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodolfo Etxekopar helped the player get up and apologised. Rodolfo Etxekopar kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. With a little luck, Chucuma FC's Horacio Bonadona got control of the ball when Atilano Telesforo tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernabe Selmo in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horacio Bonadona saved Chucuma FC from getting behind. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Atilano Telesforo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Horacio Bonadona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horacio Bonadona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernabe Selmo, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Baldomiro Caradaro was shown his second yellow card after 59 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After having played for 61 minutes, Bernabe Selmo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ibicuy AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernabe Selmo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chucuma FC's goalkeeper Horacio Bonadona, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Horacio Bonadona came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Ibicuy AFC's Bernabe Selmo. But to his dismay, Bernabe Selmo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Atilano Telesforo struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Horacio Bonadona didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ibicuy AFC. Eulalio Paublo charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eulalio Paublo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Chucuma FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Eulalio Paublo hit a great ball. Elvio Oidor was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 85th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Eulalio Paublo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horacio Bonadona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernabe Selmo, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
