Oklalomas City Thunder's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ambrosio Maldonado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Acosta having to interfere. Ambrosio Maldonado came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gilberto Acosta could save by the left post. 16 minutes into the match, Santos de Lucas's goalkeeper Gilberto Acosta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ambrosio Maldonado. Oklalomas City Thunder's Augusto Romelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Theobald in the 18th minute of play. Ambrosio Maldonado let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 20th minute shot 2-0 at rihgt post. Ermegildo Milian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Acosta having to interfere. Santos de Lucas's Gilberto Acosta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Santos de Lucas from getting a goal against them. Augusto Romelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Gonsalvo, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The Santos de Lucas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilberto Acosta should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ermegildo Milian was the one to do the kick off. Ermegildo Milian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilberto Acosta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Gilberto Acosta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ambrosio Maldonado's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Augusto Romelio acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 62nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Honorato Kaxen. 8-0 became the score in the 64th minute when Ambrosio Maldonado elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Gilberto Acosta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Milian, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Augusto Romelio made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Claudio Theobald sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Santos de Lucas's zone, Ermegildo Milian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto Acosta came out of the goal and Ermegildo Milian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
