Abel Txatxu charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Txatxu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, VILLALONGA's Abel Txatxu got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 4 minutes into the game, Jacinto Gombal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eustaquio Hermon. Jacinto Gombal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 8th match minute, VILLALONGA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Leizarraga to maneuver through the defense. When Jacinto Gombal came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the FC Yupanqui fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Gombal couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute, VILLALONGA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jacinto Gombal fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 17th minute Mateo Gilesindo suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 17th minute, one of VILLALONGA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for VILLALONGA. Gerardo Froylan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Erasmo Fidensio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. VILLALONGA's Eustaquio Hermon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save VILLALONGA from getting a goal against them. In the 36th minute of the match, Jacinto Gombal got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eustaquio Hermon was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 40th minute, VILLALONGA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Abel Firman fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

VILLALONGA's Abel Txatxu got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th minute Abel Txatxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Fidensio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, FC Yupanqui's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Txatxu came free, but Erasmo Fidensio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gerardo Froylan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geronimo Quintyn during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of VILLALONGA booed when FC Yupanqui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geronimo Quintyn didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in VILLALONGA's zone, Jacinto Gombal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eustaquio Hermon came out of the goal and Jacinto Gombal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eustaquio Hermon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edelmiro Gumaro went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. When Jacinto Gombal came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the FC Yupanqui fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Gombal couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, FC Yupanqui's Erasmo Fidensio got control of the ball when Gerardo Froylan tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Yupanqui were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of VILLALONGA for a fine match.
