Spectators: 7288 (Terracing: 5468, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joel Intxixu kicked off to start the match. If Joel Intxixu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 6 minutes into the match, Picapiedras F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Severino Ferrando came free, but Marcelino Banegas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evaristo Sabin in the 7thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Anacleto Daunte, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 15 minutes into the match, Picapiedras F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Severino Ferrando came free, but Marcelino Banegas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th match minute, Picapiedras F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godofredo Goizeder to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rankanow's goalkeeper Anacleto Daunte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Evaristo Sabin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joel Intxixu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Anacleto Daunte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Rankanow's goalkeeper Anacleto Daunte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evaristo Sabin. Felipe Efraim kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Rankanow's Anacleto Daunte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Intxixu in the 36th minute of play. Joel Intxixu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anacleto Daunte having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Severino Ferrando made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Picapiedras F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Domenec. Candido Fernandez hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Felipe Efraim sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Picapiedras F.C.'s Marcelino Banegas didn't even have to move. Victoriano Niguel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelino Banegas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Anacleto Daunte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Intxixu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Rankanow's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Intxixu came free, but Anacleto Daunte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Intxixu scored 1-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anacleto Daunte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Picapiedras F.C.'s Cirilo Luzaide got a free kick in the 76th minute. Fernando Domenec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Anacleto Daunte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Joel Intxixu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Picapiedras F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
