Edgardo Ioritz's late challenge caught a VILLALONGA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Asturias's zone, Abel Txatxu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lázaro Ignatius came out of the goal and Abel Txatxu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Edgardo Ioritz was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 72 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Asturias's Edgardo Ioritz got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Leonel Lobo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 74th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 80 minutes, Victorino Pero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Asturias and the VILLALONGA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Asturias's Victorino Pero got a free kick in the 80th minute.
