After having played for 2 minutes, Jimeno Kepa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Acorazado Potemkin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimeno Kepa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 7thth minute of the game Jimeno Kepa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Yupanqui's Erasmo Fidensio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Felipe Manilan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Erasmo Fidensio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erasmo Fidensio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jimeno Kepa went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Jimeno Kepa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augusto Aresti in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erasmo Fidensio saved FC Yupanqui from getting behind. Felipe Manilan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Erasmo Fidensio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Yupanqui's Erasmo Fidensio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Manilan in the 43rd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jimeno Kepa to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Felipe Manilan made a precise shot to the right of Erasmo Fidensio. FC Yupanqui's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Felipe Manilan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Fidensio having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Felipe Manilan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jimeno Kepa got free with Erasmo Fidensio in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abel Firman during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 69 played minutes FC Yupanqui got a freekick which was hit by Abel Firman. Jimeno Kepa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Felipe Manilan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mateo Gilesindo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Desiderio Galtero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Jimeno Kepa kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 81stth minute. Though ot was a great shot FC Yupanqui's keeper Erasmo Fidensio was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Jimeno Kepa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Erasmo Fidensio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felipe Manilan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felipe Manilan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Acorazado Potemkin played a much better game than FC Yupanqui and deserved their victory. The FC Yupanqui players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
