Spectators: 7201 (Terracing: 5402, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Efrain Pio kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Damian Mannie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Umbruso charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Umbruso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 5 played minutes C. A. Ciudadela Norte got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Umbruso. Mauro Pero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efrain Pio, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. The supporters of C. A. Ciudadela Norte booed when Talleres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Iraunkor didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, C. A. Ciudadela Norte's Filiberto Licerio got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Conrado Iraunkor kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Mauro Pero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efrain Pio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tobias Maju fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Celino having to interfere. After having played for 36 minutes, Cristobal Niva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. A. Ciudadela Norte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristobal Niva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Talleres's Mauro Pero got control of the ball when Cristobal Niva tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Omar Rayman fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talleres's protests and gave Omar Rayman a yellow card for diving instead. Mauro Pero came out of the goal in the 49th minute to try and stop a shot by C. A. Ciudadela Norte's Evelio Eliu. But to his dismay, Evelio Eliu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Conrado Iraunkor charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Conrado Iraunkor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 58 played minutes Talleres got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Iraunkor. In the 60th minute of the match Pedro Umbruso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mauro Pero showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Niva in the 61st minute of play forced Talleres's goalkeeper Mauro Pero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristobal Niva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Mauro Pero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 70 minutes of play C. A. Ciudadela Norte's Pedro Umbruso was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to C. A. Ciudadela Norte getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Pedro Umbruso hit a great ball. Talleres's Mauro Pero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romulo Martinez in the 74th minute of play. Leonel Celino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Maju in the 89th minute of the match.
