Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Delmar Chepe to make the kick off. After having played for 64 minutes, Gilberto Elixio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Axelgaqu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Elixio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Delmar Chepe came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Axelgaqu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmar Chepe couldn't finish the play. Delmar Chepe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 79th minute by Eloy Rexino got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Delmar Chepe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delmar Chepe struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Benito Colon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Axelgaqu. Delmar Chepe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Colon having to interfere. After 95 played minutes Pelicurá got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Valente. When the match was over Axelgaqu could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pelicurá throughout the match.
