Eugenio Raphael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute Santos Ramone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo Niva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Filiberto Gotzon came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Teroloco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filiberto Gotzon couldn't finish the play. Robustiano Demario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Resto in the 43rd minute of play. Santos Ramone struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Lorenzo Niva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Teroloco. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Eugenio Raphael might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lorenzo Niva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eugenio Raphael ran back to his position shaking his head. Adolfo Velasco struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Lorenzo Niva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Teroloco. After having played for 95 minutes, Timoteo Ranolfo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teroloco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timoteo Ranolfo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that Teroloco were the better team. Teroloco's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
