After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Melquiades Cedro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Saenz Peña's supporters rose to their feet, but Melquiades Cedro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ignacio Abeijon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Danilo Theodore hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in poolman's zone, Aureliano Roldanillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignacio Abeijon came out of the goal and Aureliano Roldanillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Club Saenz Peña's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
