Club Los Muchachos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Toque y Va the free kick. Iker Urti placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. When Igor Mitxaut fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Los Muchachos's protests and gave Igor Mitxaut a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes Club Los Muchachos got a freekick which was hit by Igor Mitxaut. Mauro George recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Martin Cambranes took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Danilo Bertin. Danilo Bertin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Chuse in the 58th minute of play forced Toque y Va's goalkeeper Danilo Bertin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armando Chuse might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Danilo Bertin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Armando Chuse ran back to his position shaking his head. Mauro George received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Simon Luzaide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danilo Bertin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Cambranes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Toque y Va's goalkeeper Danilo Bertin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Mauro George reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Simon Luzaide. The goal made the score 2-1. Toque y Va's Danilo Bertin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Cambranes in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute Generoso Pepillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Luzaide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Los Muchachos's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
