Steve Wonder struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Paolo Gai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Talleres. Steve Wonder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Paolo Gai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrique Stephen hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After 8 minutes, Torrey Matthews mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Talleres and the Laboulaye players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th minute, Torrey Matthews hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Talleres's Steve Wonder got a free kick in the 10th minute. After some careless play in the Laboulaye defense, Steve Wonder kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paolo Gai. The Laboulaye fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paolo Gai should have stopped the shot. Steve Wonder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Gai having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benigno Iraunkor got free with Felipe Ekaitz in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In a very dangerous position, a player in Laboulaye fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! Paolo Gai went to the wrong direction when Steve Wonder was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Elias Loren charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elias Loren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 25 played minutes Laboulaye got a freekick which was hit by Elias Loren. Club Atlético Talleres's Felipe Ekaitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Talleres from getting a goal against them. 29 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Talleres's goalkeeper Felipe Ekaitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Constantino Mambru. Eleuterio Urbes kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Luis Chaime had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After a rather tough play, Laboulaye's Benigno Iraunkor got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After having played for 46 minutes, Ulryk Nakoneczny managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Talleres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulryk Nakoneczny was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Club Atlético Talleres were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Atilano Gergori was the one to do the kick off. If Steve Wonder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute Club Atlético Talleres were awarded a corner. Steve Wonder went to the cornerflag to take it. Steve Wonder made a great header on Club Atlético Talleres's corner, it was just that Laboulaye's Paolo Gai managed to reach the ball for a save. 57 minutes into the match, Ulryk Nakoneczny notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Laboulaye's Paolo Gai. Paolo Gai was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 60th minute, Torrey Matthews hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enrique Stephen kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 66th minute of the match, Tião Castro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Paolo Gai was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Tião Castro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 67th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 68th minute, Ulryk Nakoneczny reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paolo Gai. The goal made the score 0-3. In the 74th minute, one of Club Atlético Talleres:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club Atlético Talleres. In the 76th minute there was a penalty for Laboulaye. Eleuterio Urbes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Felipe Ekaitz. 1-3. With his leg Paolo Gai managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Club Atlético Talleres's Tião Castro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 80 played minutes Laboulaye got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Urbes. In the 83rd play minute Tião Castro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Paolo Gai. 1-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Ulryk Nakoneczny managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Talleres's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulryk Nakoneczny was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paolo Gai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paolo Gai came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Talleres's Steve Wonder. But to his dismay, Steve Wonder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tião Castro got free with Paolo Gai in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Club Atlético Talleres's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
