Tareirí AFC's Rigoberto Constancio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Hulberto in the 39th minute of play. If Laureano Hulberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Tareirí AFC's Cristobal Weather threw himself towards the right post 48 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Saul Aurre, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

With a little luck, Tareirí AFC's Rigoberto Constancio got control of the ball when Laureano Hulberto tried to sneak it across the goal line.
