In the 19th minute of the match Clodoveo Costante shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bilge Kağan Urgun showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Club Atlético Aldosivi's Amadeo Mattin got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mallín FC's Tobias Sotero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Eron in the 26th minute of play. Amadeo Mattin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Moises Platon fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mallín FC's protests and gave Moises Platon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th match minute, Mallín FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Platon to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Mallín FC's zone, Aristides Eron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Sotero came out of the goal and Aristides Eron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th match minute, Mallín FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Lawrence to maneuver through the defense. Astor Telo's late challenge caught a Club Atlético Aldosivi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Astor Telo helped the player get up and apologised. When Amadeo Mattin came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Club Atlético Aldosivi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeo Mattin couldn't finish the play. With his leg Bilge Kağan Urgun managed to avoid a goal in the 48thth minute, when Mallín FC's Astor Telo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When Victor Rufio fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Amadeo Mattin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tobias Sotero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Aldosivi's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Delfino came free, but Bilge Kağan Urgun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
