After having played for 37 minutes, Horacio Hanot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moscovi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horacio Hanot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 38 played minutes Moscovi got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Espiridion. In the 40th minute Celso Remigio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Asteri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 45 played minutes Atalaya FC got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Paul. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Arturo Asteri had great luck who in the 59thth minute grab hold of the ball when Celso Remigio from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Moscovi's Christian Nuno couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute. Alfonso Espiridion hit a great ball. In the 97th minute, Jaime Roano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benicio Servando was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Moscovi fans cheered their team off the field, for while Atalaya FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
