When Edgardo Cordarrell came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Guillote Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgardo Cordarrell couldn't finish the play. Diego Lluis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee ignored Mallín FC's protests and gave Camilo Lawrence a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Mallín FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Camilo Lawrence hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 97th minute by Samuel Orzaize got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Guillote Football Club played a much better game than Mallín FC and deserved their victory. The Mallín FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
