After having played for 48 minutes, Jacinto Aguirre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A. A. Iron Maiden's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Aguirre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Javier Danel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Prospero Lekubegi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jacinto Aguirre showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 53 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Seguinus in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Prospero Lekubegi saved Sarmiento FC from getting behind. Iron Maiden players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
