Casana's Victorio Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Hitzeder in the 3rd minute of play. If Domingo Jatsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Braulio Hug hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Casana's supporters rose to their feet, but Victoriano Ayala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prospero Lekubegi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lisandro Txaran charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lisandro Txaran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Victoriano Ayala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Prospero Lekubegi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sarmiento FC's Dalmacio Esiquio got a free kick in the 24th minute. Cipriano Quintan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Prospero Lekubegi made a huge save. 29 minutes into the match, Sarmiento FC's goalkeeper Prospero Lekubegi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victoriano Ayala. With a little luck, Sarmiento FC's Prospero Lekubegi got control of the ball when Victoriano Ayala tried to sneak it across the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Javier Danel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Victorio Vidal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lisandro Txaran hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Remigio Sayvion, 37 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Domingo Jatsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 43 minutes, Paulo Mino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Casana and the Sarmiento FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 43 played minutes Casana got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Mino. Prospero Lekubegi made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Victoriano Ayala sent off a good shot on target.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Javier Danel made a kick off. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Victoriano Ayala sped through Sarmiento FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Prospero Lekubegi. Victoriano Ayala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Lekubegi having to interfere. Casana's attack was well implemented in the 62nd minute, but when Victoriano Ayala was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. 64 minutes into the game, Victoriano Ayala cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Prospero Lekubegi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Victoriano Ayala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Prospero Lekubegi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 74 minutes, Victoriano Ayala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Casana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victoriano Ayala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sarmiento FC's zone, Cipriano Quintan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prospero Lekubegi came out of the goal and Cipriano Quintan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victoriano Ayala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Javier Danel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Victorio Vidal. That made the score 2-2 in the 81 minute of play. Cipriano Quintan kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Sarmiento FC's Remigio Sayvion couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 84th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Casana. After a rather tough play, Casana's Cipriano Quintan got a free kick in the 86th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Sarmiento FC's goal looked a bit too open when Victoriano Ayala came free, but Prospero Lekubegi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cipriano Quintan got his second yellow card in the match during the 90th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 91 played minutes Casana got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Quintan. Prospero Lekubegi came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Casana's Victoriano Ayala. But to his dismay, Victoriano Ayala quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Casana had played much better football throughout.
