Spectators: 7345 (Terracing: 5511, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 7th minute, Ovidio Serafo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ovidio Serafo in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osvaldo Tulio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Gustavo Cresencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovidio Serafo scored 0-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osvaldo Tulio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Adan Tximitx had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Osvaldo Tulio. Patay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adan Tximitx was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When Adan Tximitx came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Garabato fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adan Tximitx couldn't finish the play. Ovidio Serafo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 47th match minute, Patay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeronimo Lorencio to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ovidio Serafo to strike the kick off in the second half. Ovidio Serafos short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Osvaldo Tulio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Garabato booed when Patay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Frederico didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Patay getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Nemesio Federigo hit a great ball. Osvaldo Tulio stood somewhat misplaced when Ovidio Serafo came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 65 minute. When Ovidio Serafo came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Garabato fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ovidio Serafo couldn't finish the play. Garabato's Adan Tximitx was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 72nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After having played for 74 minutes, Adan Tximitx managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garabato's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adan Tximitx was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patay's Osvaldo Tulio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Serafo in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Adolfo Frasquito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ovidio Serafo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Osvaldo Tulio made a huge save. Garabato's Adan Tximitx got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Garabato fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 83rd minute. Penalty! Adan Tximitx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Tulio having to interfere. Garabato's Ramiro Montel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Barros in the 90th minute of play. Adan Tximitx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Tulio having to interfere. Garabato's Adan Tximitx got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adan Tximitx in the 100th minute of play forced Patay's goalkeeper Osvaldo Tulio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Garabato could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Patay throughout the match.
