An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Ritchie in the 10th minute of play forced Breas FC's goalkeeper Benicio Hechter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Breas FC's goalkeeper Benicio Hechter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Breas FC's Delmar Azeari got a free kick in the 18th minute. Benicio Hechter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Ritchie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Breas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Petri came free, but Benicio Hechter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Ritchie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30thth minute of the game Isaac Nafarroa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Breas FC's Benicio Hechter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Isaac Nafarroa spun around in front of the goal 30 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Breas FC's goal. If Isaac Nafarroa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulino Petri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Hechter having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Paulino Petri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulino Petri made a kick off. With a little luck, Breas FC's Benicio Hechter got control of the ball when Gabriel Ritchie tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60th minute Paulino Petri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Hechter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Ritchie got free with Benicio Hechter in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Primitivo Bemabe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 75 minutes, Paulino Petri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arauco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulino Petri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gabriel Ritchie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Benicio Hechter made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Manuel Pudes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Breas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Pudes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Domenec breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
