In the 4th minute, Feliciano Cugat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiburcio Presebal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donato Urti in the 5th minute. Godfredo Vigil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Presebal having to interfere. Valentin Lenci could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Tiburcio Presebal made a huge save. Estudiantes de Zarate's Tiburcio Presebal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfredo Vigil in the 11th minute of play. Germano Fontano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Llorienzo in the 14th minute of play. Valentin Lenci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th play minute Valentin Lenci came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tiburcio Presebal. 1-0. Estudiantes de Zarate's Tiburcio Presebal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Estudiantes de Zarate from getting a goal against them. Godfredo Vigil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Presebal having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Estudiantes de Zarate's zone, Valentin Lenci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiburcio Presebal came out of the goal and Valentin Lenci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tiburcio Presebal came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Gunners F.C's Valentin Lenci. But to his dismay, Valentin Lenci quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Valentin Lenci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tiburcio Presebal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfredo Vigil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiburcio Presebal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valentin Lenci in the 48th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Godfredo Vigil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Estudiantes de Zarate's Tiburcio Presebal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Lenci in the 54th minute of play. Godfredo Vigil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Presebal having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de Zarate's goal looked a bit too open when Godfredo Vigil came free, but Tiburcio Presebal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Estudiantes de Zarate getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Valentin George hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the game, Valentin Lenci cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Tiburcio Presebal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 84 minutes of play, Gunners F.C's Valentin Lenci made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiburcio Presebal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Godfredo Vigil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Presebal having to interfere. When Roque Matro fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Estudiantes de Zarate's protests and gave Roque Matro a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Estudiantes de Zarate's Roque Matro got a free kick in the 88th minute.
