Estrugamou's Cesar Garaile was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 8th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Jeronimo Roderigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Astudillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 19th minute, Eduardo Mateus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 21 played minutes Estrugamou got a freekick which was hit by Geronimo Sindo. If Cesar Garaile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Estrugamou defense, Eduardo Mateus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeronimo Roderigo. The Estrugamou fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeronimo Roderigo should have stopped the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Joel Iztal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 34 minutes, Cesar Garaile managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estrugamou's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesar Garaile was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cesar Garaile received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Joel Iztal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ESPARTA F.C's Eduardo Mateus got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaspar Astudillo to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cesar Lawrence in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Iztal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 57 minutes into the game, Estrugamou's Cesar Lawrence nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joel Iztal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Estrugamou's Jeronimo Roderigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Astudillo in the 61st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in ESPARTA F.C's zone, Cesar Garaile stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Iztal came out of the goal and Cesar Garaile tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to ESPARTA F.C getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Natalio Isidor hit a great ball. Cesar Garaile fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Iztal having to interfere. Cesar Garaile sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Astudillo in the 75th minute of play forced Estrugamou's goalkeeper Jeronimo Roderigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Gaspar Astudillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gaspar Astudillo struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Jeronimo Roderigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ESPARTA F.C. In the 89th minute Gaspar Astudillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Roderigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Iztal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geronimo Sindo in the 93rd minute of the match.
