Urquiza F.C.'s Marcial Egoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Washington Lalu in the 3rd minute of play. 4 minutes into the game, Rogelio Hustaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Urquiza F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PORVENTOR the free kick. After a rather tough play, Urquiza F.C.'s Rogelio Hustaz got a free kick in the 4th minute. Cleto Mazuste made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Claudio Tiso sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Quintino Bezerra managed to get in a good position for a shot. PORVENTOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Quintino Bezerra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcial Egoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The PORVENTOR fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when PORVENTOR's Washington Lalu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudio Tiso got free with Cleto Mazuste in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcial Egoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quintino Bezerra in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quintino Bezerra in the 27th minute of play forced Urquiza F.C.'s goalkeeper Marcial Egoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Washington Lalu managed to get in a good position for a shot. PORVENTOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Washington Lalu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcial Egoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Urquiza F.C. defense, Dinu Cristache kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcial Egoi. The Urquiza F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcial Egoi should have stopped the shot. The Urquiza F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. PORVENTOR were winning 0-3.

The audience was convinced that Washington Lalu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcial Egoi was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. 57 minutes into the game, PORVENTOR's Washington Lalu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcial Egoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Marcial Egoi was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Xamin Narria. The supporters of Urquiza F.C. booed when PORVENTOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Varfolomey Syroezhkin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Urquiza F.C.'s Octavio Fernandes tried to score from far away in the 63rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Washington Lalu struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Marcial Egoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PORVENTOR. If Washington Lalu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Washington Lalu in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marcial Egoi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cleto Mazuste showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Tiso in the 75th minute of the match. If Washington Lalu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bartolo Madaleno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Marcial Egoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Quintino Bezerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adan Iraido during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Washington Lalu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Marcial Egoi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 90 minutes into the match, Urquiza F.C.'s goalkeeper Marcial Egoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bartolo Madaleno. After a rather tough play, Urquiza F.C.'s Rogelio Hustaz got a free kick in the 96th minute. In the 98th minute, Octavio Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Washington Lalu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. PORVENTOR played a much better game than Urquiza F.C. and deserved their victory. The Urquiza F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
