Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vinicio Oxel started the match with the kick off. Nunez Ekain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Mouricio in the 3rd minute of the match. LA GUARDIA IMPERIAL's Everardo Cordeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Oxel in the 7th minute of play. Elvio Gelmiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nunez Ekain. Maltide's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 12 played minutes Maltide got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Eneto. Robustiano Vimaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marco Mouricio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Vinicio Oxel came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Maltide fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vinicio Oxel couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd minute Vinicio Oxel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everardo Cordeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dalmacio Umbruso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th match minute, LA GUARDIA IMPERIAL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Mazuste to maneuver through the defense. When LA GUARDIA IMPERIAL's Marco Mouricio in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Robustiano Vimaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Mouricio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Marco Mouricio made the kick off in the second half. Fabio Eneto charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Everardo Cordeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Oxel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Marco Mouricio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nunez Ekain was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched LA GUARDIA IMPERIAL eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
