An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Veronica in the 7th minute of play forced Deportivo Laspeyres FC's goalkeeper Hector Confesor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Domeka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Hector Confesor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hector Confesor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nayef Al Mansor in the 19th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Orlando Ticho could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Hector Confesor however easily saved by the left post. Deportivo Laspeyres FC's Hector Confesor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Domeka in the 22nd minute of play. In the 28th minute, Nayef Al Mansor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MataCipayos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Manuel Domeka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erasmo Ferrer charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erasmo Ferrer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th match minute, Deportivo Laspeyres FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Ferrer to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Deportivo Laspeyres FC defense, Manuel Domeka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hector Confesor. The Deportivo Laspeyres FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hector Confesor should have stopped the shot. If Manuel Domeka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Deportivo Laspeyres FC's goalkeeper Hector Confesor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nayef Al Mansor. Nayef Al Mansor in the 46thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hector Confesor, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nayef Al Mansor made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Deportivo Laspeyres FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nayef Al Mansor came free, but Hector Confesor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hector Confesor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Estevez in the 53rd minute of play. In the 62nd match minute, MataCipayos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Gines to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Dayam was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 63rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Mikelats in the 68th minute of play forced MataCipayos's goalkeeper Zacarias Argina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zacarias Argina came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Laspeyres FC's Maximiliano Mikelats. But to his dismay, Maximiliano Mikelats quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Hector Confesor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nayef Al Mansor in the 72nd minute of play. Nayef Al Mansor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Domeka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hector Confesor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Lano, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Nayef Al Mansor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Confesor having to interfere. If Manuel Domeka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the game, MataCipayos's Manuel Domeka nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hector Confesor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. When the referee ended the match the MataCipayos players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
