The supporters of MataCipayos booed when Calaza FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Chinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute of the match, Fernando Admon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zacarias Argina saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Teo Dalmai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Domeka in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Fernando Admon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nayef Al Mansor couldn't finish the play. In the 48th match minute, Calaza FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Quinito to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. Calaza FC's Teo Dalmai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Lano in the 69th minute of play. Manuel Domeka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Teo Dalmai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. MataCipayos's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
