Huelén's Hipolito Mendez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Ugutz in the 3rd minute of play. Luis Eguen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Jakes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ituzaingo FC's Godofredo Olo got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Huelén booed when Ituzaingo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Hori didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luis Eguen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Jakes in the 26th minute of play. Hipolito Mendez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tymoteusz Komanski in the 29th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Huelén's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Ugutz came free, but Hipolito Mendez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lore in the 37th minute of play forced Huelén's goalkeeper Hipolito Mendez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Ituzaingo FC fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Ituzaingo FC's Tymoteusz Komanski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martin Jakes made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Godofredo Olo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hipolito Mendez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Hipolito Mendez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceferino Ler in the 61st minute of the match. Tymoteusz Komanski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Hipolito Mendez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Esiquio's late challenge caught a Ituzaingo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Esiquio helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ituzaingo FC booed when Huelén was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Esiquio didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Huelén getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Agustin Sanchez hit a great ball. Luis Eguen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Jakes in the 77th minute of play. Godofredo Olo came free with the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hipolito Mendez could save by the left post. With a little luck, Huelén's Hipolito Mendez got control of the ball when Tymoteusz Komanski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 89th minute, Tymoteusz Komanski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Huelén's zone, Tymoteusz Komanski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hipolito Mendez came out of the goal and Tymoteusz Komanski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 92 minutes into the match, Tymoteusz Komanski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hipolito Mendez, 0-4. Ituzaingo FC played a much better game than Huelén and deserved their victory. The Huelén players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
