Spectators: 7298 (Terracing: 5475, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 145) Alberto Pacorro made the kick off and thus started the match. Jonathan Bibiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Marcelo Cordarrel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelo Cordarrel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Breogan in the 6th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in River MdP's zone, Jonathan Bibiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Cordarrel came out of the goal and Jonathan Bibiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the match, River MdP's goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Feliu came free, but Marcelo Cordarrel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Bibiano might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcelo Cordarrel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonathan Bibiano ran back to his position shaking his head. 22 minutes into the game, Jonathan Bibiano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Marcelo Cordarrel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Yutuyaco's Ruperto Gabon got control of the ball when Melchor Firme tried to sneak it across the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Alberto Pacorro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ruperto Gabon, 1-1. In the 38th minute Jonathan Bibiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Cordarrel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ceferino Abancens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Cordarrel having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonathan Bibiano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alberto Pacorro hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Ruperto Gabon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, River MdP's Alberto Pacorro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ruperto Gabon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Ladislao Breogan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in River MdP's zone, Jonathan Bibiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Cordarrel came out of the goal and Jonathan Bibiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcelo Cordarrel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Bibiano in the 77th minute of play. Marcelo Cordarrel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceferino Abancens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Bibiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Cordarrel having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Ceferino Abancens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Bibiano in the 86th minute of play forced River MdP's goalkeeper Marcelo Cordarrel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 87 played minutes River MdP got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Yácono. After a rather tough play, Yutuyaco's Ceferino Abancens got a free kick in the 91st minute. Ruperto Gabon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Pacorro, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Yutuyaco's Ruperto Gabon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Pacorro in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Yutuyaco left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than River MdP.
