When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Teodosio Mambru put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Andres Loiola. After 41 minutes of play, Bernal F.C's Genaro Berdoi made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andres Loiola was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Darlington F.C 1883 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bernal F.C were winning 1-2.
