The supporters of Deportivo San Rafael booed when UCES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Lawrence didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adélio Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Velasco in the 78th minute of play. Jonas Blai hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. UCES's Bernardo Moise shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 80th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Adélio Neves but with some difficulty. In the 81st match minute, Deportivo San Rafael was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Aureo to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, UCES's goal looked a bit too open when Honorato Ikatz came free, but Leon Poz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ubaldo Aureo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 87 minutes into the match. The referee gave UCES a penalty, 90 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bernardo Moise, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Deportivo San Rafael's Adélio Neves. 4-1. If Fulgencio Fiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Luisito Velasco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adélio Neves was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Deportivo San Rafael fully deserved thier win.
