Spectators: 7156 (Terracing: 5401, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 100) After 4 minutes of play, Pueblo Nuevo's Mauro Taurino made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ariel Rioja was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 8th minute, Rogelio Baldovino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marciano Paul in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ariel Rioja prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pueblo Nuevo's Marcos Francis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Azubeli in the 15th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Ariel Rioja successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Pueblo Nuevo's zone, Erasmo Isaio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Francis came out of the goal and Erasmo Isaio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Cuervos del Sur:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pueblo Nuevo:s goal. The referee gave Pueblo Nuevo a penalty, 27 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cecilio Federigo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cuervos del Sur's Ariel Rioja. 2-0. Mauro Taurino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mauro Taurino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Ariel Rioja when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mauro Taurino took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ariel Rioja. Ariel Rioja dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Sebastian Jacob hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Leon Azubeli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Marcos Francis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Cuervos del Sur's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Taurino came free, but Ariel Rioja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 60 minutes, Leon Azubeli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuervos del Sur's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leon Azubeli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Pueblo Nuevo's Pastor Policarpio got a free kick in the 61st minute. Tomás Leheren kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Leon Azubeli reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcos Francis. The goal made the score 5-1. Mauro Taurino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ariel Rioja having to make a save. Leon Azubeli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Francis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Mauro Taurino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Ariel Rioja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ariel Rioja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Taurino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mauro Taurino struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Ariel Rioja didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pueblo Nuevo. Pueblo Nuevo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cuervos del Sur for a fine match.
