When Hugo Claris came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Cavour AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Claris couldn't finish the play. Bonifacio Goi struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Marco Uhin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pagancillo FC. If Osvaldo Ibañez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cavour AFC's Marco Uhin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Goi in the 37th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Osvaldo Ibañez made the kick off in the second half. If Hugo Claris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vladimiro Tulio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Lartaun in the 58th minute of the match. Osvaldo Ibañez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bonifacio Goi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaston Aztore hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Vladimiro Tulio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guillermo Lartaun went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Rafael Bordat took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vladimiro Tulio. Pagancillo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Claris in the 86th minute of play forced Pagancillo FC's goalkeeper Vladimiro Tulio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladimiro Tulio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Claris, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Osvaldo Ibañez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Uhin having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Guillermo Lartaun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cavour AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0.
