Luisito Dubardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Matthew, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Desiderio Guib sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Barracas Central's zone, Desiderio Guib stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luisito Dubardo came out of the goal and Desiderio Guib tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgardo Rius kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Tamberías FC's Baldomero Liberto couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 10th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Barracas Central. Matias Matthew struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Luisito Dubardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tamberías FC. Amador Jon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Mitxel in the 19th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Teofilo Obeko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Jon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Humberto Mitxel lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Amador Jon. 27 minutes into the match, Matias Matthew had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luisito Dubardo. Barracas Central's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matias Matthew was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When Teofilo Obeko came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Barracas Central fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofilo Obeko couldn't finish the play. Teofilo Obeko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Humberto Mitxel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Teofilo Obeko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Jon having to interfere. In the 64th match minute, Barracas Central was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Mitxel to maneuver through the defense. Edgardo Rius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute Humberto Mitxel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Jon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Humberto Mitxel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barracas Central's supporters rose to their feet, but Humberto Mitxel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amador Jon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luisito Dubardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Matthew, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matias Matthew sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luisito Dubardo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Matias Matthew showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 84 minute of play.
