Ramiro Policarpio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnulfo Harkaitz in the 16th minute of the match. Eriberto Bastia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 3-0 became the score in the 59th minute when Pascual Peruxu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Ruben Uzuri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eriberto Bastia was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. When Gilberto Montrel came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Beazley FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Montrel couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Salto defense, Pascual Peruxu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eriberto Bastia. The Salto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eriberto Bastia should have stopped the shot. Benjamin Vargas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uriel Bela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Caton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salto 's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beazley FC the free kick. In the 83rdth minute of the game Ruben Uzuri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salto 's Eriberto Bastia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Beazley FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pascual Peruxu in the 84th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Salto 's goalie and right to Ruben Uzuri. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Salto 's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 86th minute, Benjamin Vargas made a precise shot to the right of Eriberto Bastia. Salto 's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Arsenio Gonsalve recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
