Martin Benat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Aurelio Errolan made a huge save. 29 minutes into the match, Martin Benat notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Bernardino Rivadavia's Aurelio Errolan. Aurelio Errolan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 32 minutes into the game, Pascual Fonda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Argentinos Jrs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bernardino Rivadavia the free kick. After 32 played minutes Argentinos Jrs got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Fonda. 34 minutes into the match, Argentinos Jrs's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Bela came free, but Jonathan Sayvion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardino Rivadavia's Dalmacio Polo got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcelo Louis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Sayvion having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Bernardino Rivadavia's Dalmacio Polo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Sayvion narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dalmacio Polo to make the kick off. Argentinos Jrs:s Jonathan Sayvion showed great skill when he stopped Ambrosio Larpe:s penalty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benigno Kimetz in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelio Errolan saved Bernardino Rivadavia from getting behind. Martin Benat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, Argentinos Jrs's Benigno Kimetz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aurelio Errolan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Melchor Macerio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelio Errolan was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Aurelio Errolan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Benat, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When Martin Benat, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 97 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Aurelio Errolan was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Argentinos Jrs's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
