The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eustaquio Ruy kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Cochequingam's Adrian Guerau got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Samuel Gabon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Berasko in the 14th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Adrian Guerau put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Godofredo Goyo. Cochequingam's Samuel Gabon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Pacho in the 20th minute of play. Celedonio Diagur's late challenge caught a Club Ferro Carril Oeste's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celedonio Diagur helped the player get up and apologised. Gaston Berasko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Samuel Gabon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute Clodoveo Gabino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Gabon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was beautiful to see Cochequingam's Ruben Fernandez in action when he in the 31st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Clodoveo Gabino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Gabon having to interfere. After 35 played minutes Cochequingam got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Ayala. Adrian Guerau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 42 minutes into the match, Club Ferro Carril Oeste's goalkeeper Godofredo Goyo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrian Guerau. Alvaro Ayala who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Godofredo Goyo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anselmo Figueroa during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th match minute, Cochequingam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Figueroa to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clodoveo Gabino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Alfredo Mel fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Ferro Carril Oeste's protests and gave Alfredo Mel a yellow card for diving instead. The referee gave Cochequingam a penalty, 57 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ruben Fernandez, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Club Ferro Carril Oeste's Godofredo Goyo. 2-0. During the 64th minute of the match Anselmo Figueroa completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Anselmo Figueroa a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 65 played minutes Cochequingam got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Figueroa. In the 68th minute, Clodoveo Gabino reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Samuel Gabon. The goal made the score 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Adrian Guerau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cochequingam's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Guerau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Godofredo Goyo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cochequingam's Alvaro Ayala got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75th minute, Alvaro Ayala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Club Ferro Carril Oeste's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Horado came free, but Godofredo Goyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godofredo Goyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Txema, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvaro Ayala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godofredo Goyo having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Cochequingam players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
