Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 19 minutes into the match, 4 Elementos's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Polo came free, but Romeo Gilabert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Marcelo Louis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dalmacio Polo in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romeo Gilabert saved 4 Elementos from getting behind. Ambrosio Larpe hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 4 Elementos's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 44th minute of the game, when Alvaro Montez after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Bernardino Rivadavia's goal. Alvaro Montez was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dalmacio Polo to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Americo Serafo in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelio Errolan saved Bernardino Rivadavia from getting behind. In the 54th minute, Americo Serafo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelio Errolan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When Marcelo Louis fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After 63 played minutes Bernardino Rivadavia got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Gasteiz. In the 64th minute of the match Francisco Karlo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aurelio Errolan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bernardino Rivadavia's zone, Americo Serafo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Errolan came out of the goal and Americo Serafo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute Tomás Cordearo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Errolan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dalmacio Polo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 94 minutes of play Bernardino Rivadavia's Cornelio Cruz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. Bernardino Rivadavia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
