Columbus's Antonio Abreu got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 14 played minutes Forres FC got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Cortez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Karlo in the 17th minute of play forced Forres FC's goalkeeper Igor Urtun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filomeno Karlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
