Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dario Firme started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Esteban Fidensio made a precise shot to the right of Erasmo Atarratze. Casillas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Diego Urki hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Casillas's Erasmo Atarratze got control of the ball when Saverio Sadurni tried to sneak it across the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, one of Forres FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Erasmo Atarratze made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Saverio Sadurni sent off a good shot on target. Saverio Sadurni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Atarratze having to interfere. Casillas's Erasmo Atarratze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Mano in the 23rd minute of play. Saverio Sadurni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Atarratze having to interfere. Saverio Sadurni came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Erasmo Atarratze could save by the left post. Igor Urtun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Firme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Dario Firme fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Casillas's protests and gave Dario Firme a yellow card for diving instead. Dario Firme hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Anselmo Mano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Erasmo Atarratze. The goal made the score 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Francisco Estebano hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After having played for 59 minutes, Anselmo Mano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Forres FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselmo Mano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erasmo Atarratze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Sadurni in the 62nd minute of play. When Saverio Sadurni came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Forres FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saverio Sadurni couldn't finish the play. Dario Firme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dionisio Franco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Igor Urtun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute Dario Firme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Urtun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anselmo Mano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Casillas getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Dionisio Franco hit a great ball. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Casillas's goalkeeper Erasmo Atarratze, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Anselmo Mano came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Forres FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Mano couldn't finish the play.
