Jacobo Fresco started the match with the kick off. In the 4th match minute, Anjulio AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Beliran to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Anjulio AFC's Honorato Pio got control of the ball when Teodosio Inge tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 8 played minutes Anjulio AFC got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Feliz. Grüttly's Teodosio Inge got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th minute, Jacobo Fresco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14th minute, Angelino Gerazan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teodosio Inge could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Honorato Pio made a huge save. Grüttly's Jacobo Fresco got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Anjulio AFC's zone, Jacobo Fresco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorato Pio came out of the goal and Jacobo Fresco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Anjulio AFC's Santo Beliran got a free kick in the 27th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santo Beliran during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Anjulio AFC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Santo Beliran hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Anjulio AFC's zone, Jacobo Fresco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorato Pio came out of the goal and Jacobo Fresco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Grüttly's Jacobo Fresco got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Teofilo Txordon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teodosio Inge might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Honorato Pio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teodosio Inge ran back to his position shaking his head. Honorato Pio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jacobo Fresco went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Grüttly's Herminio Erasto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Grüttly from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Anjulio AFC's Santo Beliran got a free kick in the 65th minute. Jacobo Fresco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Honorato Pio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Teofilo Txordon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Anjulio AFC's Teofilo Txordon in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grüttly's goalie prevented a goal. Teofilo Txordon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Herminio Erasto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anjulio AFC's Angelino Gerazan got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd minute Teofilo Txordon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herminio Erasto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelino Gerazan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Herminio Erasto made a huge save. Grüttly's Clemente Orti got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anjulio AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
