The Saguión AFC fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Saguión AFC's Zacarias Ermano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. A very good chance. In the 35th minute Angel Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Javiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angel Barbosa in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mario Javiar saved Marcianos FC from getting behind. Mario Javiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Barbosa in the 45th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A long shot from Ismael Beltza in the 77th minute of play was well struck, but Mario Javiar made a really good save at the right post. In the 87th match minute, Marcianos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Fresco to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute Angel Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Javiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Angel Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Saguión AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
